Great Expectations

Expecting your baby is such a great anticipation. We want to hurry up and meet him or her...or sometimes them if you are expecting twins! In all that hurrying, I love to slow down with my Mommas-to-Be for a short period so we can reflect. Reflect on this pregnancy, the sweet wondering of who your baby will look like, what he or she will be like...the unknowing of who your little one will be once you get to meet for the first time. There is so much mystery there, but you know your little one already. You feel the little bumps and kicks in response to your voice or time of day...or even the foods that you eat. Such a strange thing...knowing this tiny being, yet having never met. Lets slow down together, take in a few moments before this grand meeting...so one day years from now you can show your grown child...this was me, before we met for the first time.
